VFILES Partners With DePop For SS20 Extravaganza

When it comes to creating an immersive experience, the talent for VFILES knew how to shake things up. Partnering with iconic label Depop, global emerging creators; Di Du, Wesley Harriot, Pierre-Louis Auvray, and Nico Verhaegen kicked NYFW off with a youthful, edgy and oh so fun set of collections.

As the runway began, music pulsed the room of a sold out show that held nearly 2,000 guests. Kicking off their first set, Rico Nasty opened the show in a custom look by Di Du and performed hits “Roof”, “Smack a Bitch”, and “Hatin”, artists Erika Jayne and Brooke Candy followed with their debut single “Drip,” and YG closed the runway with his hits, “Go Loko,” and “Big Bank”. As crowds swayed to the oh so booming music numbers (not for the faint of heart) the emerging designer pieces hit the runway flawlessly, showcasing a range of looks from bold avant-garde to more neutral and loosing fitting.

From the eclectic combination of robotic and quirky looks, iconic pieces that stood out to us included an off the shoulder lilac puffer, a grey maxi with feather detailing at the bottom, and an iconic (must have) black form fitting maxi with a single shoulder strap and detailing up the left leg.

Straight off the runway, the designer capsules will be available to shop, in addition to a select few t-shirts, on Depop.
