The Top FW2020 Trends And Where To Shop Them

The fall and winter seasons are finally here, which means it's time to toss our summer wardrobe to the side and make room for comfy layered looks.

On the FW2020 runway, we saw a plethora of new and returning trends emerge. From outerwear to accessories, today we're taking a look at some of the top trends of the Fall/Winter seasons and where to shop them.

Belted Blazers

One of our favourite trends of the fall/winter season is a variation of a wardrobe staple. This season, blazers take a twist with structured exaggerated shoulders and a sinched in waist. As seen on runways such as Prada, Fendi and Alexander McQueen this trend is classic and tailored, giving definition to the body.

Coloured Leather

Emerging on the runway in many forms, coloured leather has been a standout trend for the Fall/Winter seasons. Taking center stage in more muted tones like camel, light grey or white, coloured leather is a great way to add texture to an otherwise simple look. Want to make a statement? Try a full monochrome leather look.

Oversized Coats

When it comes to the new season, bigger is better. An innovative and statement trend that we saw on the runway was oversized coats. Paired with a more muted outfit, we loved the styling of the coat with belted waist to give a more tailored look.

Necklace Bags

For SS20 we caught a glimpse of this trend on the runway, and for the Fall/Winter months, it makes a grand comeback. Whether in the form of an AirPod case or a small envelope to carry your cards, it's a functional trend that adds dimension to looks.

We love a comfy faux-fur moment. This year we saw the fur trend on runways like Louis Vuitton, Prada, Fendi and more. Taking the form of coats, bags and even shoes, it's a great textured element to keep you warm all season long.

Lingerie Detail

Show off your sexy side with this delicate trend. For runways like Burberry, Gucci and Tom Ford, lingerie details added extra sex appeal to various looks. Versatile in a way where you rock a statement look by opting for a bralette and blazer or a more subdued look with a corset top layered on top of a long sleeve.
