This past Saturday on September 7th, Son Jung Wan returned to New York Fashion Week to debut her SS20 Collection. Fusing retro glamour with a modern twist she captivated audiences with her bold coloring and voluminous silhouettes.
Starting her collection with a baby doll dress with accentuated sleeves, each piece that followed mirrored the extravagant aesthetic. As noted by the designer "the collection featured embroidered dresses full of different layers of iridescent fabrics; a rose gold gown entwined with floral print, array of electric blue gowns, and a neon mint dress that screamed splendor." Along with the vintage inspired looks, models donned bold shadows and lips, with curly voluminous hair - reminiscent of the 60's, a truly iconic age.
