Before entering New York Fashion Week's iconic venue in Soho, Spring Studios, crowds of fashionistas billowed on the sidewalk of Varick Street diligently waiting to enter. For a Chiara Boni runway, this is expected.
Widely known for the momentous support that comes from the fashion community, every season feels like an all-inclusive celebration of fashion, with grande theatrics and a-list attendees.
For Fall/Winter 2020-21 it was surely no different.
This season for F/W 2020, Chiara Boni derived inspiration from the Castilian tradition, which echoed a lively, and upbeat vibe throughout the collection. Upon entering the runway room the energy completely transformed with music blaring as dancing models hit the runway in true Chiara Boni fashion.
Aside from eye-catching fierce fringes and dynamic polka dots, bold solid tones of black, blue, burgundy, lime yellow, kelly green, and pink were present. Glamour was also captured through rich textures like velvet fabrication and glittery effects.
Within the collection, a variation of both extravagant and everyday wearable pieces were showcased. Clean construction was at the pinnacle of the garments, in addition to playful silhouettes that framed and showed off the female figure.
For us, Chiara Boni always captures the perfect combination of sophistication and fun and this Fall/Winter collection was a true representation of that. Timeless, chic, and empowering, paired with impeccable construction, each look that walked down the runway had audiences cheering, and our writers begging for more.
