So if you are on a tight budget here are our tips to help you shop smartly:
Sales, sales, sales!
If you're like me and have a sixth sense for sales, than this is nothing new for you. But for those of you that don't, as a student trying to save a little $$$ it's important to always keep an eye out for sales. A lot of websites often have sales going for as long as a month for an upcoming holiday. In addition, the end of a season means there will be items on sale with more discounts than ever before. A lot of fashion trends repeat themselves, so stock up and buy that parka at 50% off!! If you have a closet room, buy all the things you need in end-of-the-season sales to save significantly.
Wants and needs.
Differentiate between needs and wants and only buy things that you really need. You want that new YSL clutch, but you NEED that Herschel back pack. Tuck away that YSL Online Shopping tab for LATER when you're out of school and have a nice income. Trust us, it may seem like a priority now, but you'll regret buying that clutch when you purchase your first 6 text books for first semester
Take advantage of discounts.
Fortunately, a lot of retailers understand that students are on a tight budget so if you want to revamp your wardrobe on a budget, take advantage of their student discounts. That's right!
