Every year the fashion elite in the city of Toronto gather round for what is notably the biggest runway event of the year. Showcasing men and women fashion trends, Jeff Rustia's TOM* and TW took Toronto by storm, and the line up of designers and their spectacular collections did not disappoint.
I thought before kicking off all of the posts on TOM* and TW and the amazing designers showcased, that I would start with the most iconic and memorable runway: Canada's 150th. This show encapsulated all the designers from the week long event, they came together and each designed pieces that celebrate Canada, with of course their own flair.
The designers ranged from Hendrixroe to Stephan Caras to Pascal Labelle to Lesley Hampton to SOOO many more (there were over 40 designers, CRAY)....
Watching the runway was an incredible experience, you can see the Canadian inspiration in each piece. We are so excited to share it with you, so without further adieu, here are our favourite looks from this years Canada's 150 runway collection:
