Before I get started: HAPPYYY NEW YEAR!!!! (and welcome to my first blog post of 2017 !!)
I know I forgot to do my favorite for last week, no need to rub it in, I GET IT. So guess what? This week, I'm going to stick to one but next week, yeah that's right you get TWO.
This weeks favorite is a skincare product, because if you haven't guessed it by now, I am a total skin care FREAK. The product I am currently obsessed with and one that you will defiantly see in my monthly January favorites is the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum.
When I first got this product, not going to lie I wasn't completely sold on what it was "supposed to do". I had watched a ton of YouTube videos on it and what it had been promised to do and let me tell you it had a lot to live up to. After saving up quite a bit for the Truth Serum (it is not at all cheap), I finally purchased it and it is everything I could have imagined and more.
When I first tried it out, like almost every impatient person I was wondering why I didn't see immediate results (aka the next day). But as we all know skin care can take weeks to see results, I learned while working at Sephora that your skin has to adjust to the product which takes time, so yeah you have to wait.
With this specific serum however it only took 2 weeks of using this product for my skin to completely transform. The main concern for my skin was dark spots and small bumps around my chin and sides of my forehead. I was really embarrassed by the bumps especially because they were so prominent and makeup made them look worse. I went to so many skin consultants and nothing suggested ever worked, which is when I came across this and those bumps straight up vanished. My skin has never been clearer and brighter. All the dark spots have evened out, my skin is so much smoother and I just have an overall clearer and smoother complexion.
This product has been a holy grail in my morning routine (you only need one pump per DAY), and I will definitely be re-purchasing when I run out.
