So last week I had an idea of creating this series of posts! I am so excited to have start doing a favourite of the week series because it will actually get me to start posting more. I thought of it last Tuesday when I wanted to share a favourite song of mine but also didn't want to dedicate an entire post to just one thing for no reason. But now I can, ISN'T THAT SO GREAT?!
Every week I will be uploading a new "favuorite" item. The favourite item will vary, meaning it can be anything from a favourite song to a favourite makeup product to a favourite shoe. This way you'll be getting at least two posts a week and it makes it easier to share with you the things I am loving since I HAVE SO MANY THINGS I LOVE.
So lets get started! This weeks favourite is actually a CC Cream!
I had been looking online for a nice BB cream for a while now, but after a lot of research and just looking around I found a CC cream with amazing reviews by IT cosmetics called the "Your Skin But Better CC Cream". I literally googled my butt off trying to get this product but because I live in Canada it is next to impossible (struggles of Canadian life).
Side note: They do have it for sale on Amazon, but I thought it was kind of sketchy buying makeup from that site, idk why. Just thought it would be a weird purchase from Amazon.
Anyways. Since I didn't want to give up, I mean I was already invested, I decided to scour the internet for a dupe! Which is when I discovered Organic Wear CC Cream by Physicians Formula (not linked because you can grab this bad boy at shoppers).
I've tried numerous foundations from Urban Decay and Laura Mercier and I have to admit this one is my favourite at the moment. It's very light and creamy and just glides on. The formula is also designed to cover up all those dark spots and imperfections so you're left with very naturally flawless skin. This product is also organic, which means all the ingredients in the product are natural and isn't filled with harsh chemical which could damage your skin.
With this product I usually pair it with either my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer or my Nars Radian Creamy Concealer . This product is perfect for an every day foundation, I use it on my lazy days or days when I just want a natural look (a.k.a no cake face here!)
