Mascara! The one beauty item that's a holy grail in any make-up collection, I mean, you could have nothing but mascara on and it still looks like you put effort into your look.
When it comes to choosing a mascara it is very important to know what you’re looking to achieve and formulas that can help you get there. Now, for a lot of people, mascara is mascara, they all do the same thing: but that’s so far from the truth. All mascaras have different qualities that give your lashes a different effect. So today I am going to tell you about three different mascaras that have worked for me in very different ways.
As a disclaimer the products that I chose are all are from Sephora, so yes they are a tad expensive. However, mascara is definitely something I say is okay to splurg on because it is a staple item, it is definitely something that you get your money’s worth out of. I’ve purchased ten dollar mascaras before that I’ve thrown out within a week, only to purchase a thirty dollar one right after.

So lets get started,
The first one I will talk about is Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara (wow that was a mouth full lol). This mascara is for those who want that effortless, wispy, very light long lash. I love this mascara for every day, or when I don’t want to wear makeup, because I always get people commenting on them telling me my natural eye lashes are AMAZING. This mascara seriously looks like you aren’t wearing anything, but your lashes are just THAT long. So if your into that kind of look, I would highly recommend this product.
The formula is also very light, so you don't get that clumpy look, it is a very "effortless" mascara. The length that you achieve with this mascara is also amazing, very whispy. The only downside of this mascara is it doesn't give enhance the thickness of your lashes.

The second one is Lancôme Grandiose Extreme Volume Mascara. This mascara is DRA-MA-TIC, it gives you length, amazing color and super thick lashes. I usually only use this for a night out because it is so bold, but hey, if you like the long, dark look, rock it during the day!
The main reason why I love this product is purely the length, I’ve never had my lashes so long until I tried this one. The formula is quite thick so you have to be careful not to apply too much because you will get that clumpy look. Other than that, this mascara is perfection for anyone looking for long dramatic lashes.
**Side note , this mascara is pretty pricey but you will not find a drugstore mascara that can do what this mascara can do, so it's totally worth it.
The third and final mascara which I use on the daily is Benefits “Yes They’re Real” mascara. This mascara is the perfect combination of the previous two, it gives the perfect coating, and makes the lashes long but not too dramatic.
This mascara is good for an everyday look but it can be build-able for a night out.The formula is a great consistency, not too clumpy, but of course like any mascara if you build it too much you will get that effect. The brush is also amazing as it glides on really well, and the tint is also very pigmented.
